The USA Dance is the nation-wide organization of competitive, college, and social Amateur Ballroom Dancers in the United States. USA Dance functions as the governing body in the USA for amateur ballroom dancing (also known as DanceSport.)

Piedmont NC USA Dance is a chapter of the national USADance organization. We are an organization comprised of ballroom dancers who love to dance and are delighted to share the experience with others interested in dancing.

We meet each month for regular tea dances and have lessons with most dances. (On special occasions we devote the entire time to general dancing.) Professional Instructors are engaged for the pre-dance lessons. Lessons are 30 minutes in length.

We also have special events, including:

- Workshops featuring outstanding, nationally recognized dancers who offer individual coaching as well as group classes.

- An annual Black Tie Dance.

- Showcases - Annual Showcase of Dancers featuring both amateurs and professionals.

- Holiday Parties during the Christmas/New Year season.
